Staff Morale Party: Super Hero Night!
YMCA Camp Hi-Rock
hires over 100 caring and dedicated American and international staff to
work with our campers each summer. Competitive wages, room, and board
are provided for all positions in Resident Camp, Day Camp, and our Teen
Leadership program. There are more Staff Pictures posted in the Photo Album. You can also check

Summer
Staff Positions at YMCA Camp Hi-Rock
Age and
grade requirements for staff positions are as of the start of
employment. Each link will allow you to view the job description for
that position. Please contact the Camp
Director or call our office to see if a position is still
available.
Requirements
All
staff are required to hold First Aid and Adult and Child CPR
certifications for the duration of employment. State law requires a
health history, physical exam report, and background checks for all
employees.
Benefits
Time
off is scheduled on a rotating basis each two-week session. You can
expect to have two days off each two-week session, with some evenings
off in addition.
Internships
We
can offer a wide range of entry- and Director- level placements for
students. Each year, we have some interns on staff and help them
develop their skills and their resume. Contact us if we can be of
assistance. We are happy to speak directly with your advisor.

Spring
and Fall Seasonal Work
YMCA
Camp Hi-Rock also offers seasonal employment during the spring and
fall. Spring positions start at the beginning of May and run until the
beginning of Staff Training in mid-June. Fall positions start at the
end of August and run until the end of October. Some positions last for
a shorter amount of time, so please apply whether or not you are
available for an entire season. These positions include: work in high
and low ropes facilitation; team building and leadership programs;
hiking and climbing; beach and waterfront activities; and kitchen and
maintenance assistance. Training, room, board, and competitive wages
are provided. The weekly pay rate varies, dependent on experience and
